RMU Student-Athlete of the Week (8/29/12)
Thanks to a pair of goals in a 2-0 victory over Radford (8/26/12) at Joe Walton Stadium in the second game of the season helps freshman forward Jess Martin-Brown of the field hockey team earn the inaugural RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the 2012-13 campaign. A native of Mount Gambrier, Australia, Martin-Brown bolstered the Colonials to their first win of the 2012 campaign thanks to a goal in each half over the Highlanders. Her second tally of the contest at the 56:19 mark on an assist from Jamie Hartley and Taleah Scott helped seal the victory. She is an environmental science major.
