RMU Student-Athlete of the Week (9/12/12)
Taking home his second RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week honor in the first three weeks of the fall 2012 campaign and fourth of his career is senior goalie Toba Bolaji of the men's soccer team. A native of Vaughn, Ontario, and a biology major, Bolaji helped the Colonials pick up their first win of the 2012 campaign with a 1-0 victory @ Wright State (9/8). Bolaji turned away 10 shots of the 2012 Horizon League preseason favorite, including seven in the second half, to record the 13th shutout of his career. For his efforts, Bolaji was tabbed the Northeast Conference Co-Player of the Week. He is now one shutout shy of tying former Colonial Matt Felice (2005-08) for second all-time in clean sheets. On the 2012 campaign, Bolaji averages 6.00 saves per game, which tops the NEC.
