Freshman guard Marcquise Reed of the basketball team garners the Higher Images RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week honor for Nov. 19, 2014, after averaging 17.0 points in his first two collegiate games last week. In his Robert Morris debut against Lafayette (11/14/14) at the Charles L. Sewall Center, Reed tied for team-high honors in scoring with 10 points. Two days later, the native of Landover, Md., took home game-high honors with 24 points against No. 6 North Carolina (11/16/14) in Chapel Hill, N.C., at the Dean Dome. Reed finished 10-for-15 shooting from the field, hitting his only attempt from beyond the arc, and also went 3-for-4 at the free-throw line. For his efforts, Reed was tabbed the first Choice Hotels Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week (11/17/14) of the 2014-15 season.
