Honored with his first Higher Images RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week accolade of his career is sophomore forward Neco Brett of the soccer team. A native of Kingston, Jamaica, Brett was named the Northeast Conference Player of the Week (9/30) after recording four goals and an assist in two games last week. He posted a goal and an assist in a 3-0 win over Duquesne (9/25) at the North Athletic Complex and followed that by helping Robert Morris post its third straight victory by recording a hat trick in a 3-1 victory over Buffalo (9/29). His hat trick was the program’s first since 2007 and ninth overall. Brett currently leads the NEC in scoring with 17 points and is tied for the league lead in goals with seven.
