Selected as the Giant Eagle RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for March 14, 2018, is sophomore forward Luke Lynch of the hockey team. In a road sweep of Holy Cross in a best-of-three series to advance to the semifinals of the 2018 Atlantic Hockey Tournament, Lynch compiled six points thanks to a pair of goals and four assists. He posted two helpers in the series opener to help Robert Morris post a 4-1 victory in Game One, then tallied a pair of goals and a pair of assists in a 5-1 win in Game Two to complete the sweep. In 39 games this season, Lynch has compiled 17 goals and 19 assists for 36 points.
