Earning one of two Peoples Natural Gas RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week honors for Dec. 26, 2018, is sophomore forward Charles Bain of the basketball team. In the final non-conference road game of the 2018-19 season for the Colonials, Bain paced Robert Morris with 18 points. He shot 6-for-9 from the field, including 3-for-3 from beyond the arc, and also went a perfect 3-for-3 at the free-throw line. In the second half, Bain knocked down three-pointers on consecutive possessions that gave the Colonials a 39-31 lead. On the 2018-19 season, Bain is averaging 9.4 points and 4.3 rebounds per game. Over his last five games, the Freeport, Bahamas, native is averaging 12.4 points per contest.
