Tabbed the Chick-Fil-A Robinson RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for Nov. 24, 2021, is fifth-year offensive lineman Trevor Hicks of the football squad. Hicks, a native of Washington Court House, Ohio, was named to the 2021 All-Big South Academic Team for the second time during the 2021 calendar year Tuesday as part of the league’s annual postseason football honors. A criminal justice major, Hicks owns a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.66. He started nine of RMU’s 10 games at left tackles during the 2021 season, helping protect quarterback George Martin, who became the first quarterback this season to throw for over 2,000 yards for the Colonials since 2008. Hicks concluded his career by starting 43 games on the offensive line, the second highest total of any RMU student-athlete in program history.
