Sophomore Ally Christman of the volleyball team has been tabbed the Chick-fil-A Robinson RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week for September 14, 2022. In helping the Colonials posted a perfect 3-0 record at the Morehead State Comfort Inn-vitational last weekend, Christman paced RMU with 36 kills, a .286 attack percentage and five service aces while also compiling 27 digs and three blocks. She established career highs in kills in consecutive matches, finishing with 16 in a 3-1 win over previously undefeated North Alabama (9/9) and 20 in a five-set win over the host Eagles in which RMU dug itself out of a 2-0 hole. Christman, a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, also produced her second double-double of the 2022 season against the Lions with 16 kills and 12 digs and also notched two service aces. For her efforts she earned a spot on the 2022 Morehead State Comfort Inn-vitational All-Tournament Team. Overall on the 2022 season, Christman has tallied 54 kills (2.45 per set), owns a .233 hitting percentage, ranks second for the Colonials in service aces (11) and has compiled 52 digs.Â
