Selected as the Chick-fil-A Robinson RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week for April 5, 2023, is senior midfielder Colleen Tifft of the lacrosse team. She shares the honor with Hannah McDanel of track & field. In a 12-10 victory @ Youngstown State (4/1) that opened RMU’s 2023 Mid-American Conference (MAC) schedule, Tifft had a career day, accumulating five points thanks to four goals and an assist. She also notched a career-high six draw controls while also nabbing three ground balls and posting a pair of caused turnovers. Tifft, a native of Liverpool, N.Y., posted a hat trick in the first half, with her third tally of the contest giving the Colonials a 6-3 edge. For her efforts, Tifft was selected as the MAC Offensive Player of the Week (4/4). One of seven Colonials to start each of RMU’s nine games during the 2023 season, Tifft leads the Colonials in scoring with 21 points thanks to 14 goals and seven assists.
