Sophomore attack David Burr of the lacrosse team has been selected as the Chick-fil-A Robinson RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for April 19, 2023. In a pair of games over the last week, Burr racked up nine points thanks to seven goals and a pair of assists in a home victory over Bellarmine (4/12) and a road triumph @ Queens (4/15). He matched a career high in the victory over the Knights with five points, including four goals, one of which was featured on ESPN SportsCenter as a top 10 play. In 12 games during the 2023 campaign, including eight as a member of the starting lineup, Burr, a native of Glassboro, N.J., has compiled 32 points thanks to 22 goals and 10 helpers.
