Unlike last night's game, neither team could find the back of the net in the first period. Sophomore Brianne McLaughlin (Sheffield Village, Oh. / Ohio Flames) made 10 saves in the first period alone, she had 25 on the afternoon.

In the second period the Colonials lit the lamp first with Freshman Jordan Riley (Hamilton, Ont. / Stoney Creek Sabres) going top-shelf on Union's goaltender Alex Zirbel for the short-handed goal and the 1-0 lead.

Robert Morris wouldn't settle for just one goal scoring again with 1:01 left in the period on a Morgan Beikirch blast, tallying assists were Sophomore Samantha Ullrich (St. Louis, Mo. / Team Illinois U-19) and Freshman Mallory Giambra (Rochester, N.Y. / Rochester Edge).

The Dutchwomen, who only managed 18 shots on goal in the first two periods finally found their offense in the third period scoring once on the power-play 4:15 into the period and once again on even-strength with 6:51 left to play in the game.

Robert Morris wouldn't waste any time to crush Union's dreams of a comeback, letting 46 seconds elapse off the clock for the Freshman Walkland to pick up her first goal of the season, which proved to be the game-winner on the power-play. Assists were credited to Sophomore Kristen Miles (London, Ont. / London Devillettes) and Morgan Beikirch.

Robert Morris (2-4-1) held the advantage in shots 37-27 while converting two of their ten chances on the power-play.
