Union took an early 1-0 advantage on a five on three power-play score at the 3:31 mark. The two teams would exchange scores again with Miles picking up her first of the goal of the night to take a 2-2 tie into the second period.

Union's offense closed up shop in the second period thanks to the Colonial defense limiting the Dutchwomen to only two shots in the period and 12 in the game.

Miles would break up the 2-2 tie with a power-play goal 10:55 into the period for her second of the night.
