Box Score Pittsburgh, Pa. - The Robert Morris University women's ice hockey team completed their second series-sweep of the season defeating Sacred Heart 5-1 at the RMU Island Sports Center Thursday afternoon.

Robert Morris took command of the game early with another three goal explosion in the first period, with all three scores coming in the span of two minutes. Picinic got the ball rolling midway through the first period with a sharp-angled power-play shot from the right side of the cage for the 1-0 lead at 8:54. Dorman, who leads the team with 12 goals, wrapped up the two minute stretch in the first stanza with her first goal of the night coming off an assist from Freshman Jordan Riley (Hamilton, Ont. / Stoney Creek Sabres).
Just as yesterday's game played out, Sacred Heart answered back to the three goal deficit in the second period. Michelle Panella claimed the only Pioneer goal of the afternoon, cutting the lead to 3-1 with a rebound on the doorstep.

Dorman picked up her second goal of the game, beating Freshman net-minder Kristen Olychuck with 2:13 left to play in the second. Olychuck made 27 saves as she played all 60 minutes in goal for the Pioneers.
Kristen Miles brought curtain down on the Pioneers as the clock ran down in the third period, scoring her 11th goal of the season and sealing the score at 5-1.
