Robert Morris Drops Decision to Monmouth, 2-0

Box Score WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. - The Robert Morris field hockey fell in its season finale Sunday against Monmouth, 2-0.

Stephanie Seeley (Louisville, Ky. / Ballard) posted nine saves against the Hawks including making seven second half stops but it was not enough to stop Monmouth who outshot the Colonials 18-2. Meredith Violi gave the Monmouth a first half lead with a goal at the 28:48 mark of the game.

The Hawks generated solid pressure in the second half with 12 total shots and Kimmy Baligian made it a two score game at the 20:03 into the second frame. Monmouth picked up 12 penalty corners including seven in the second half while the Colonial generated just one corner attempt.
