2013 NFCHA All-Region Teams

Jamie Hartley (Tamworth, Australia / University of Newcastle) was named to the Longstreth / NFHCA Division I All-Mideast Region Second Team this afternoon, becoming the first Colonial field hockey student-athlete to be honored on an All-Region team by the NFHCA.
Hartley led the Colonials this season in assists (7) and points (21), and also finished third in goals (7). Her assist total put her in a tie for seventh among Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) members, and her point total ranked her 10
th in conference.
In a game at Ball State on Sept. 6, Hartley broke a program record for career goals with her 17
th. The junior midfielder holds the top spot in the career record books for goals (21), assists (21), and points (63).
Hartley served as a captain for the past two seasons and has been an all-conference selection for the last three. She was named to the All-Northeast Conference (NEC) Second Team during her freshman and sophomore campaigns, and then joined three of her teammates on the first-ever All-MAAC Second Team this season.
Robert Morris broke new ground as a program in 2013, advancing to the inaugural MAAC Championship Game in their first-ever postseason appearance. The Colonials finished 11-8 and shattered the school's previous record of eight wins in a single season, and saw a record four players named to the All-MAAC Second Team. RMU also tied for the conference lead in All-MAAC Academic Team selections with 13.
