Robert Morris Falls to Lock Haven, 4-1

Box Score LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Robert Morris University (2-7) field hockey team fell to Lock Haven, 4-1, Saturday in the Colonials Northeast Conference opener.

Chantele Crow (Dauphin, Pa. / Central Dauphin) scored at the 58:35 mark but it was note enough to overcome four, Lock Haven goals. Amy Hordendorf gave the Lady Eagles a first half lead with a goal at the 31:55 mark. Kristi Shepps put the game out of reach with three consecutive goals to give Lock Haven a four goal lead. Crow's score cut the lead to three but it was not enough for the Colonials.

Stephanie Seeley (Louisville, Ky. / Ballard) made 13 saves for the Colonials with 10 coming in the second half. The Lady Eagles took 25 shots with 16 coming in the second half and won the penalty corner battle 5-3.

Robert Morris returns to action at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday closing its five game road trip with as the Colonials travel to Ohio State.
