Moon Township, Pa. - The Robert Morris University women's tennis team opened the spring portion of its 2010-11 schedule Saturday with a 7-0 setback to IPFW at Club 4 Life in Monroeville.

The loss drops the Colonials to 0-2 in dual matches on the 2010-11 campaign.

At the No. 1 singles flight, sophomore Samantha Alves (Rio De Janerio, Brazil) battled Amy Recht before suffering a 6-0, 6-2 setback, while sophomore Carla Limon (Cordoba, Mexico) fell to Ingrid Ballus, 6-3 and 6-0, at No. 2.

Robert Morris returns to the court Sunday, Feb. 13, with a 1:00 p.m. match against Carnegie Mellon.
