Sacred Heart Edges Robert Morris 1-0

Box Score Fairfield, Conn. - Oct. 9, 2011 -The Robert Morris field hockey team was edged 1-0 by Sacred Heart on Sunday as the Colonials closed out the first weekend of Northeast Conference play.

Robert Morris (6-9 overall, 0-2 NEC) was outshot by just one attempt in the contest (8-7 shots on goal) in the contest, however the difference proved to be enough for the Pioneers. Leah Salindong knocked in her own rebound at 17:03 of the first half for the game's only score.
