Moon Township, Pa. - The Robert Morris University softball team's home non-conference doubleheader against Canisius scheduled for Wednesday, May 4, has been canceled due to recent rainfall and the current forecast for Wednesday.
These games against the Golden Griffins were the final regular-season non-conference contests scheduled for the Colonials.
The Colonials are 11-5 in Northeast Conference (NEC) play and control their own destiny with regard to earning the top seed and hosting the upcoming NEC Tournament as Sacred Heart has completed its league slate at 14-6. Robert Morris will close league play with a pair of doubleheaders later this week.
RMU will visit in-state rival Saint Francis (Pa.) Thursday, May 5, at 2:00 p.m. before hosting Mount St. Mary's Sunday, May 8, at 1:00 p.m.
