Moon Township, Pa. - The Robert Morris University women's tennis team continued its 2012 fall season Saturday with a 4-3 setback to Oberlin at the North Athletic Complex.

RMU earned singles victories at No. 1, No. 3 and No. 5 while also winning at the first doubles flight.

In singles play, junior Carolina Mourao Teixeira (Rio De Janeiro, Brazil) came from behind to defeat Farah Leclercq, 2-6, 6-2 and 10-8. At No. 3, senior Samantha Alves (Rio De Janeiro, Brazil) defeated Preeya Shah, 7-6 (4-0) and 6-3, while senior Isabella Novella (Santo Andre, Brazil) earned a 6-2, 6-4 victory over Ariana Abayomi.

In doubles action, Mourao Teixeira teamed up with freshman Marie-Sophie Heine at the No. 1 doubles to defeat Leclercq and Gract Porter, 8-4.
