First Round Results
Kettering, Ohio / NCR Country Club – Robert Morris University junior
Santiago Mejia (Bogota, Colombia / Blessed Hope) posted a two-under par round of 68 at the NCR Country Club North Course in the first round of the University of Dayton Flyers Invitational Monday. Robert Morris finished with a team score of 292, the sixth-lowest in team history, and sit sixth in the 16-team field.

Mejia shot even-par 35 on the front before coming home with a 33 to card his lowest score as a Colonial. His opening round 68 has him tied for second, one stroke behind Cleveland State's Andrew Bailey. The 68 is the third-lowest number by and RMU golfer and the lowest score since 2011.

Garrett Browning (Imperial, Pa. / West Allegheny), fresh off his first-place finish at the RMU Colonial Classic, is tied for seventh following an even-par 70.

Dean Hitt (Jackson, Mich. / Lumen Christi) and
Dan Maier (Irwin, Pa. / Penn Trafford) each shot 77 in the first round and are tied for 59
th. Freshman
Mac Cavanaugh (West Newbury, Mass. / Pentucket Regional) shot an 82 and is tied for 90
th.
