Bedminster, N.J. / Fiddler's Elbow C.C. – The Robert Morris University men's golf team tied for fifth at the 15-team Barnabas Health Intercollegiate hosted by Seton Hall University at Fiddler's Elbow Country Club's River Course. The Colonials were first among the six Northeast Conference teams entered in the event.
 
RMU shot a 303 in both rounds to card a 606 total, tying with LaSalle University for fifth place. Minnesota took the team title with a 571 followed by Temple (588), Seton Hall (596) and Monmouth in fourth (603).
 
Junior Santiago Mejia (Bogota, Colombia / Blessed Hope) topped the Colonial contingent with a score of 149 on rounds of 75 and 74. He tied for 13th overall.
 
Sophomore Garrett Browning (Imperial, Pa. / West Allegheny) and sophomore Dan Maier (Irwin, Pa. / Penn Trafford) shot identical rounds of 151 to tie for 19th. They each carded rounds of 76 and 75, though on different days. For Maier, it was his best two-day total as a collegiate golfer.
 
Junior Ryan Prokay (Grove City, Pa. / Grove City) tied for 35th by carding a 156 with rounds of 77 and 79. Sophomore Matt Gurska (Hermitage, Pa. / Kennedy Catholic) was one stroke behind Prokay. He fired rounds of 79 and 78 for a 157.
