The Robert Morris University field hockey team will finally return to Joe Walton Stadium this weekend after a season-opening eight-game road trip. The Colonials will host Towson on Sept. 27 at noon and then will compete against Ohio at noon on Sept. 29.Â

History vs. Towson
RMU has played the Towson Tigers twice in program history, and the Colonials fell in both contests. The most recent game was back in 2008 at home where the Tigers earned a 2-0 win.

History vs. Ohio
The Colonials are 1-4 overall against the Bobcats. RMU's only win was back in 2011 when they defeated the then No. 15 Bobcats in overtime, 1-0.

In Case You Missed It
The Colonials took on UMass-Lowell and pulled out a 5-1 win last Saturday. Sophomore
Jess Martin-Brown (Mount Gambier, Australia / University of Adelaide) scored a hat trick, registering all three goals in the second half.  On Sunday, RMU fell to Lock Haven, 4-2. Freshman
Chloe McIlwaine (Belfast, Ireland / Northumbria University) and junior
Taleah Scott (Crookwell, Australia / Crookwell) scored the only two Colonial goals in the game.Â

After being home for two games, the Colonials will travel next weekend to Radford, Va. to face Radford. The contest with the Highlanders will be at 1:00 p.m. on Oct. 6.
