Box Score

Muncie, Ind. – Junior Jamie Hartley (Tamworth, Australia / University of Newcastle) scored her 17th career goal in a Robert Morris University uniform, helping push the Colonials past Ball State, 1-0. The score sets a new program record for career goals, which was previously set by Chantelle Crow (2008-11).

Hartley – who also holds the program career mark for points with 49 – buried a shot into the left side of the cage in the 56th minute, breaking a scoreless tie. The unassisted goal came on her fifth shot of the contest, and the fourth that she put on net.

The Cardinals had a chance to tie it at the end, but Lexi Kavanuagh's shot was blocked by sophomore Marzana Fiedtkou (Georgetown, Guyana / Marian Academy).

Junior goalkeeper Erin McKenzie (Lismore, Australia / University of Queensland Tech) earned her second-straight shutout after stopping two scoring chances.

The Colonials outshot Ball State, 20-10, held a 12-3 advantage on shots on goal, and also edged the Cardinals in corners, 10-7.

RMU will look to extend their winning streak to three games tomorrow afternoon at noon against Colgate.
