Grasonville, Md. / Prospect Bay Country Club - The Robert Morris University men's golf team shot a 623 team score to finish 12th at the 22-team Whiting-Turner Towson Invitational. The event was played at both Hogs Neck Golf Club and Prospect Bay Country Club Monday and Tuesday after winter-weather conditions wiped out the original format of three rounds at Prospect Bay. Tuesday's final 18 holes were played at Prospect Bay.
Santiago Mejia led the Colonials contingent of golfers shooting a 74 Tuesday to finish with a151 total. He finished in a tie for 12th after firing a first round 77.
Ryan Prokay shot a 75 Tuesday after a 78 Monday at Hogs Neck. His 153 total was good enough to put him 25th. 
Dan Maier shot 78 both Monday and Tuesday tying for 41st  with a 156.
Garrett Browning shot 82 and 81 for a 163 and 83rd place finish. 
Dean Hitt shot 83 both days to finish in a tie fo 93rd (166).
