ROBERT MORRIS (15-5-4, 12-3-3 AHC) at HOLY CROSS (8-10-5, 7-5-5 AHC)Friday, Jan. 23 at 7 p.m. & Saturday, Jan. 24 at 3 p.m. | Hart Center, Worcester, Mass.RADIO: None | AUDIO: None | VIDEO ($): AtlanticHockey.TV LIVE STATS: GoHolyCross.com | TWITTER: @RMUHockeyTHE LEADFollowing an offensive bonanza in a two-game home sweep of American International, the first-place Colonials start a four-game road swing with a pair against Holy Cross. After scoring just 11 goals in their previous seven games, a span in which they went 2-4-1, the Colonials buried AIC under 14 goals last weekend. Saturday's 9-4 win marked the biggest single-game RMU output since Dec. 2011.
ABOUT ROBERT MORRIS-Â Not only was the AIC series a breakout for the team in general, it was also an eruption for RMU's top line of
Cody Wydo,
Scott Jacklin and
Zac Lynch. The trio combined for 19 points (8g, 11a) in the two wins, 15 more than they generated in the previous seven games.
-Â Wydo and Jacklin both tied the program record with five-point games Saturday, and they
split the Atlantic Hockey Player of the Week award as a result. Jacklin totaled seven points (2g, 5a) and was the
NCAA Second Star of the Week, while Wydo racked up six points (3g, 3a), including a hat trick in Saturday's third period.
-Â The final goal of Wydo's hat trick gave him the program career scoring record all by himself, as the senior surpassed Nathan Longpre (2007-11) with his 139th collegiate point in his 138th NCAA game. Also, Jacklin is now fifth on the all-time RMU list with 96 points.
-Â RMU's power play played a significant role in the sweep of AIC, converting on four of eight opportunties. The Colonials' three man-advantage goals Saturday tied a season high previously established Dec. 6 vs. Sacred Heart.
-Â FUN FACT:Â The Colonials' 87 shot attempts Saturday set a new season best, while the 45 shots on goal were their second-most in a regulation game this season. The six-goal third period was RMU's first since Game 2 of last year's AHC playoffs, an 8-4 win over Army at 84 Lumber Arena.
SCOUTING HOLY CROSS-Â The fourth-place Crusaders have fallen back a bit in the past two weeks, as they carry a four-game losing streak into the weekend. However, all four of those losses were by a single goal, with two coming in overtime.
-Â These two teams have not met since a two-game series on Neville Island in Nov. 2013, which yielded a win for each side. RMU has played just four games all-time at the Hart Center in Worcester, Mass., going 2-1-1.
-Â After facing back-to-back teams with top-end offensive stars in Bentley and American International, RMU will square off against a more balanced attack this week. Holy Cross' top scorer is junior defenseman Jake Bolton (6g, 9a), while he and three other players are tied for the team lead in goals.
-Â Under first-year head coach David Berard, the Crusaders have been quite stingy, allowing just 2.22 goals against per game, the top mark in Atlantic Hockey. In league games, Holy Cross is even better, sporting a 1.94 GAA.
-Â Senior goaltender Matt Ginn has been a huge part of the Crusaders' defensive success, stopping over 93 percent of the shots he's faced in 21 starts. However, freshman Paul Berrafato played both games last weekend against Mercyhurst, so Ginn's status remains uncertain entering the series with RMU.

Atlantic Hockey Honors:Â The Colonials have not only succeeded on a team-wide basis this season, they've also earned several individual honors. On top of Wydo and
Dalton Izyk each earning Atlantic Hockey monthly awards in October,
Daniel Leavens won player of the month for December. Also, RMU has claimed 12 AHC player of the week honors thus far. Friedmann (Player of the Week), Wydo (Player) and
Terry Shafer (Goalie) have won two weekly awards each, while Izyk (Goalie) has three.
Cody Keeps Climbing:Â After a program-record 31-goal, 54-point junior year, Hobey Baker Award candidate Wydo has paced RMU's attack once again. The Michigan native, who entered the season as the active Division I leader in goals, has 32 points (14g, 18a) in his first 24 games, the second-highest total in the nation. His five-point night Jan. 17 vs. AIC gave him the all-time program scoring record at 139 points. (Take part in fan voting for the Hobey Baker
