CapsuleAfter opening its league schedule with a 3-0 win against Sacred Heart last Friday, Robert Morris travels to the borough of Brooklyn for games at LIU Brooklyn and St. Francis Brooklyn this weekend. The Colonials first meet with the Blackbirds (5-5-2, 2-0-0 NEC) in a 4:00 p.m. match at LIU Field Friday, Oct. 16. The Blackbirds are unbeaten in conference play with victories against Fairleigh Dickinson and Bryant. The Colonials follow up against St. Francis Brooklyn (8-1-3, 1-0-1 NEC) who played a scoreless tie with Bryant before upending Central Connecticut, 1-0, in overtime. The Colonials have not won both legs of the Brooklyn trip since 1994.

The Series vs. LIU BrooklynRMU is 12-15-1 all-time against the Blackbirds, a series that dates back to 1991. These teams have split their last nine meetings with a 1-1 tie included in 2007. LIU has won the last two games and three of the last four. RMU last won at LIU Field in 2009 needing double-overtime to grab a 2-1 victory.

The Series vs. St. Francis BrooklynThe Colonials are 9-14-2 against the Terriers, but are 0-3-1 in the last four meetings and 1-6-1 dating back to 2007. The only win for Robert Morris during the recent stretch was a 1-0 victory at home in 2010. RMU won, 2-1, in 2005 – the last time it was won at St. Francis Brooklyn.

Jake Cooper are also in the league's top-10 scorers with seven points, both with the same total of two goals and three assists
- RMU leads the league in goals (21), assists (19) and points (61)
- Brett was named to the Mac Hermann Trophy Watch List, an award that is given annually to the best men's soccer player in the nation
- Five of the Colonials first 10 games have gone to overtime. The team record for OT games is six set by the 2006 and 1992 teams

Coming UpThe Colonials return to North Athletic Complex next weekend to host Fairleigh Dickinson and Bryant in a set of league fixtures. The Knights begin the action Friday, Oct. 23, with kick-off slated for 3:00 p.m.
