Pittsburgh, Pa. – In its final series of 2015, the
Robert Morris University women's hockey team travels to Wentzville, Mo., to face the Lions of Lindenwood University on Saturday, Dec. 12 at 3 p.m. (EST) and Sunday, Dec. 13 at 1 p.m. (EST) at Lindenwood Ice Arena.
After they dropped the first of two games with College Hockey America leader Mercyhurst, RMU (9-6-3, 3-3-2) bounced back in Game 2 to tie the Lakers, 4-4, in overtime. Mercyhurst remains undefeated in CHA action. Lindenwood (4-11-3, 2-3-3) is coming off a split weekend at RIT, where they defeated the Tigers in Game 1 and tied the second, 1-1. Prior to the RIT series, the Lions had lost their last six.
Following the holiday break, the Colonials will return to home ice for a series with Providence on Jan. 2 and Jan. 3, 2016.

Among the RanksRobert Morris ranks among the top five in NCAA DI women's hockey in multiple categories, including power play goals (18; t-3rd), power-play assists (36; t-3rd), penalty kills (73; 1st), blocked shots (286; 3rd) and blocked shots per game (15.89; 1st). RMU boasts a top-10 scoring offense, power play, penalty kill unit and combined special teams.

Mikaela Lowater, the CHA Player of the Month (November), leads the league in power-play goals (five), power-play points (10), blocked shots (44; tied with fellow Colonial
Maggie LaGue) and blocks per game (2.44; tied with LaGue). Lowater is tied for third in the nation in power-play goals and ninth in NCAA DI in points per game among defensemen (0.89).

Brittany Howard paces the conference in points (22), points per game (1.22) and power-play assists (seven).

Amber Rennie ranks first in the CHA in shot percentage (.286).
