Boston, Mass. – Senior Bethany Ledford of the Robert Morris University indoor track & field team concluded the indoor portion of her collegiate career in record-breaking fashion Saturday afternoon at the ECAC Championships inside Boston University's Track and Tennis Center.

The Colonial veteran cleared 3.85 meters in the pole vault, breaking her own school record that she had just set two weeks ago when she won the Northeast Conference title for the second year running. Ledford placed seventh in the event and as a result claimed All-East Coast honors. It marks the first such accolade of her career for an indoor jump although she earned an All-East Coast award during the 2014 outdoor season.

Junior Olivia Loy joined Ledford in competing in the pole vault for RMU Saturday. Loy cleared the first two heights the bar was placed at and posted a height of 3.65 meters. She finished in a tie for 11th place while tallying one of the top 10 heights in Colonial history.

Ledford's performance makes 2014-15 the second consecutive season in which at least one Colonial has earned All-East Coast indoor honors.

Robert Morris will conclude its indoor campaign Sunday morning when the shot put is contested at the ECAC Championships.
