MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Julia Dill,
Maizee Fry,
Zoee Gologram,
Erin LaQuatra, and
Lindsey Martineau were selected to the College Sports Communicators Academic Track and Field All-District® Team, which recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom.
Dill is a mechanical engineering major with a 3.546 GPA. Dill showcased her dominance in distance running, setting a new school indoor record in the 5000m with a time of 16:37.65. Her success extended to the 2025 Horizon League Indoor Championship, where she secured a silver medal in the 5000m (17:11.01) and a bronze in the 3000m (9:42.72). Dill was also recognized for her academic excellence, earning a spot on the 2025 Horizon League Indoor All-Academic Team.
Gologram, a political science major boasting a 3.899 GPA, made her mark in the javelin. She secured fourth place at the Horizon League Championships with a throw of 39.19m/128-7. Earlier in the season, Gologram set a personal and venue record at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational with an outstanding throw of 44.84m/147-1, which stood as the best throw in the Horizon League for the season.
Matineau, a biology major with a 3.967 GPA, was a member of the bronze-winning 4x400 relay team at the Horizon League Championship, which set a new school record with a time of 3:47.81. Matineau also achieved a personal best in the 400m hurdles, finishing eighth at the HL Championship with a time of 1:03.70.
Fry, majoring in secondary education with a 3.619 GPA, contributed to her team's score at the Horizon League Outdoor Championship, earning five points. She also set a personal record in the discus with a throw of 132-8.
Finally, LaQuatra, a health science major with a 3.61 GPA, etched her name in the record books by setting a new school record in the steeplechase at the Horizon League Championships with a time of 10:56.88.
All five student-athletes are members of the RMU Dean's List and Horizon League Academic Honor Roll.
