Boston, Mass. – The
Robert Morris University indoor track & field team concluded its campaign Sunday morning at the ECAC Championships inside Boston University's Track and Tennis Center.
Senior
Aubree Ray was the lone Colonial to compete on Sunday, the last of three days of the Championships.
Ray took part in the shot put where she finished in 19th place with a distance of 12.08 meters. This was the first time in her career that Ray competed in the indoor ECAC's although she has participated in the same outdoor meet in each of her previous three years.
Ray will now prepare for the outdoor campaign and her signature event, the discus, in which she holds the school record (47.45 meters). She is a two-time Northeast Conference champion in the event.
The 2015 RMU outdoor track & field season will begin March 20-21 at the Wake Forest Open.
