CapsuleRobert Morris will take on its toughest opponent of the season Sunday, Sept. 13, at Noon in the form of the 24th-ranked Bowling Green Falcons. Sunday's match will feature two of the top scorers in the nation –
Neco Brett of the Colonials with five goals and an assist and the Falcons' Pat Flynn who has eight goals and three assists through five games. After opening the season with three consecutive victories, the Colonials have dropped their last two games. Bowling Green is now 5-0 following a 3-1 win over Evansville Friday.

The Series vs. Bowling GreenRobert Morris and Bowling Green have never met on the soccer field. The Falcons are the third different first time opponent for the Colonials this season (Saint Peter's, Eastern Illinois).

Lucas Puntillo is the NEC Rookie of the Week after scoring five points in two games last weekend
- Puntillo earned his second assist Friday against Marshall and has six points (2 G, 2 A) in the last three games

Neco Brett ranks fourth in the nation in goals (5) and points (11)
- Robert Morris is 23rd nationally with eight goals and is 29th averaging 2.0 goals per game
- Brett has three hat tricks in his career, tied for most in team history with Jacek Przednowek (2005-07)
- Brett was named to the Mac Hermann Trophy Watch List, an award that is given annually to the best men's soccer player in the nation
- A two-time NEC Player of the Year, Brett is the leading scorer in NCAA Division I since 2013 accumulating 80 points on 34 goals and 12 assists
- Robert Morris has played two consecutive overtime games, defeating Saint Peter's 2-1 and falling to Eastern Illinois by that same score. RMU has not played three straight OT contests since 2006
- Four of the top five scorers from last season's squad are gone and are just one reason for the team's 27 player roster, one of the largest in recent memory
