Pittsburgh, Pa. – With four points on the line and an unbeaten streak to protect, the
Robert Morris University women's hockey team travels to Merrimack this weekend for a pair of games on Friday, Oct. 21 at 3 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 22 at 2 p.m.
The Colonials' (4-0-2) record remains unblemished after they defeated and tied the Catamounts of Vermont in 84 Lumber Arena last weekend. Redshirt junior forward
Brittany Howard was named College Hockey America (CHA) Player of the Week for the second time this season for her four-point effort in two games versus Vermont. Howard dealt two assists in Friday's 3-2 win, and scored both of RMU's goals in Saturday's 2-2 tie.

Jaycee Gebhard have combined for 27 points through six games. Only one other forward line in NCAA Division I women's hockey has exceeded that total (No. 4 Minnesota-Duluth; 28). The three have become a force to be reckoned with on the power play, as 13 of those 27 points were produced on the man advantage.

At 4-0-2, the 2016-17 Colonials are off to their best start in program history. They are one of four undefeated teams remaining in NCAA women's hockey. Their unbeaten streak of six games is tied with No. 1 nationally-ranked Wisconsin.
