Rachel Boody of the
Robert Morris University track & field team garnered All-East Coast honors this weekend at the 2016 ECAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Princeton, N.J.
Boody finished third in the discus, posting a toss of 45.76 meters (150'1") to earn bronze and All-East Coast accolades. She trailed only Amber Monroe of James Madison (53.16 meters) and Sarah Hillman of Delaware (47.76 meters) in the event.
Also taking part in the discus for RMU was freshman
Sam Buck, who posted a throw of 40.19 meters. Buck also competed in the javelin, finishing with a toss of 38.06 meters.
In other throwing events for the Colonials at the ECAC Championships, senior
Jessica Guyett and junior
April Krivoniak took home top 10 finishes in the shot put. Guyett, the
reigning Northeast Conference champion in the event, tallied a throw of 13.24 meters (43'5.25") to finish ninth. Krivoniak was one spot behind in 10th thanks to a throw of 13.18 meters (43'3").
A week after establishing a new school record in the 4x800-meter relay at the 2016 NEC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, RMU recorded the second fastest time in school history in the event at the ECAC Championships, clocking in at 9:21.49 to finish 12th. The squad consisted of juniors

Kiera Mooney, freshman
Mathilde Terleth and sophomore
Rachel Crane.
Also competing for Robert Morris at the 2016 ECAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships was senior
Olivia Loy, who competed in the pole vault but did not register a height.
