Pittsburgh, Pa. - The
Robert Morris University men's hockey team invites its supporters and alumni to the 11th Annual Golf Outing at the Allegheny Country Club in Sewickley on Friday, August 19, sponsored by Fruehauf Manufacturing.
Registration for the four-person scramble will begin at 11 a.m., followed by lunch and a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start, concluding with dinner at 6 p.m.
The cost to participate is $210 per golfer, with a rate of $195 for hockey program alumni. Individuals and full groups are welcome. All players will receive two tickets to an RMU home game at the Island Sports Center and be eligible to take part in auctions for sports memorabilia and other prizes. Non-golfers are welcome at the event to socialize and network, plus have a chance at great auction prizes, at a rate of $50 per person.
A variety of sponsorship opportunities are available, starting as low as $250.

Funds raised at the outing over the past decade have totaled more than $100,000, aiding the men's hockey program to compete at the highest level. We'll celebrate the accomplishments of the past season at the golf outing, including the 2015-16 Atlantic Hockey Conference regular-season championship and 2015 Three Rivers Classic title.
Robert Morris is ready to begin another championship quest in the 2016-17 season, with three games scheduled in the home of the Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins, as well as a full home slate. The complete schedule can be
