Robert Morris opens its 2016 season by hosting Niagara University in a 1:00 p.m. game at North Athletic Complex Friday, Aug. 26. The Colonials defeated the Purple Eagles on the road last season, 1-0, to open the 2015 campaign. It was the start of a three-game win streak to open the year.

The Colonials are 7-5 against the Purple Eagles and have won three of the last four meetings between the two squads. RMU has not lost at home to Niagara since 2008 and is 5-2 at home overall in the series.
