Winnipeg, MB  -  A pair of Robert Morris University men's hockey graduates will suit up for the Winnipeg Jets rookie camp beginning this week. Today, the Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club announced their roster for the 2016 Rookie Camp that will attend the 2016 Young Stars Classic in Penticton, B.C. from September 16-19, including former Colonials forward Brandon Denham and defenseman Tyson Wilson.

Denham and Wilson skated for Winnipeg's AHL club, the Manitoba Moose, following the completion of their senior campaigns at Robert Morris last spring. In July, the Moose announced contract extensions with both Denham and Wilson.

Denham, a native of Milton, Ontario, appeared in nine games with the Moose last season, scoring four points (1G, 3A) playing on the right wing. The 6'4, 220-pound forward, played four seasons for the Colonials, capping his college career with 42 points (22G, 20A) in the 2015-16 season. Denham was a Hobey Baker Award nominee, third team Atlantic Hockey selection and four-time Atlantic Hockey all-academic team honoree.

Wilson played in three games with the Moose last season after finishing up five seasons with the Colonials. The 6'1, 200-pound defenseman from Brockville, Ontario scored 27 points (2G, 25A) in his senior campaign at Robert Morris, earning all-conference second team honors. Wilson was a finalist for the Senior CLASS Award for on and off-ice excellence and was a five-time Atlantic Hockey all-academic team honoree.

Four former Colonials will showcase their talents in NHL rookie tournaments or training camps. On Monday, another Class of 2016 member was named to a rookie camp roster, as forward Zac Lynch will attend the Florida Panthers rookie tournament. Last week, the Chicago Blackhawks announced Colonials graduate, goaltender Eric Levine '13 will attend their training camp. Since 2004, when Robert Morris University began its run in NCAA Division I men's hockey, 59 former Colonials have gone on to play hockey professionally.
