The Capsule
Robert Morris concludes a four-game road trip on Monday, Feb. 6 at 7:00 p.m. against LIU Brooklyn. The Colonials extended their winning streak to five with a 61-54 victory at St. Francis Brooklyn on Saturday and are 5-1 in Northeast Conference (NEC) road contests this season.
The Series vs. LIU Brooklyn
Robert Morris has been dominant in the all-time series against the Blackbirds, owning a 45-16 overall edge along with an active 11-game winning streak. The Colonials have claimed 18 of those 45 victories in Brooklyn, picking up a 52-49 win at the Wellness Center last season.
Scouting the Blackbirds
LIU Brooklyn currently shares eighth place in the NEC with Fairleigh Dickinson as both teams hold a 3-8 record in league play. The Blackbirds have gone 2-2 over their last four games, claiming wins against Wagner and Central Connecticut during that timeframe. Senior guard Shanovia Dove and freshman center Aja Boyd each average double-figures in scoring for LIU, registering 14.8 and 10.9 points per game, respectively. Boyd, a two-time NEC Rookie of the Week honoree, paces the Blackbirds in rebounding (6.6 RPG) and blocked shots (20), while Dove has a team-best 28 steals.

The Previous Meeting
Robert Morris established school records for fewest points allowed in a quarter and opponent field goal percentage and
Anna Niki Stamolamprou tied program single-game standards in points and field goals made in the Colonials' 83-42 win over LIU Brooklyn on Jan. 9. RMU carried a 23-3 lead after the opening frame and held the Blackbirds to just 19.6 percent shooting for the contest. Stamolamprou led the Colonials with 39 points on 15-of-22 shooting, tying the single-game scoring record set by Artemis Spanou on Feb. 8, 2014 against St. Francis Brooklyn. The 15 made field goals has now been accomplished on four different occasions.
Last Time Out
Robert Morris scored 34 of its 61 points in the paint as the Colonials extended their winning streak to five games with a 61-54 win at St. Francis Brooklyn on Saturday.
Nneka Ezeigbo posted the first double-double of her career with a career-best 18 points and 10 rebounds, while

Super Bowl Success
With its victory at St. Francis Brooklyn on Saturday, Robert Morris is now 12-0 in its last game held before the Super Bowl over the last 12 seasons. The last time the Colonials lost their most recent contest prior Super Bowl Sunday was on Feb. 5, 2005 at Monmouth (L, 64-72).
Â
NEC's Finest
Anna Niki Stamolamprou was named NEC Player of the Week for the third time this season and sixth time overall on Wednesday, Feb. 1. Stamolamprou's six top player honors is one shy of tying the program record of seven, held by both Sugeiry Monsac (2004-07) and Artemis Spanou (2010-14).
Â
Lift Off
First-year head coach
Charlie Buscaglia is on the cusp of posting the winningest debut season in program history as his 13-9 record is two victories shy of surpassing Dan Swalga's 14-win campaign in 1978-79.
Â
Can't Knock The Hustle
Robert Morris has done a good job closing out victories this season, posting a point differential of +58 in its 13 wins and +46 in its eight conference triumphs. The Colonials are averaging 5.8 more points than their NEC counterparts in those victories and 4.5 more points against all opponents in wins.
Â
Empire State of Mind
Brooklyn has been kind to Robert Morris over the past 10 seasons as the Colonials have achieved a 13-4 record during that timeframe in road contests against LIU Brooklyn and St. Francis Brooklyn. That stretch includes a current five-game winning streak dating back to the 2014-15 season.
