Rachel Boody of the
Robert Morris University track & field team earned her second All-East Coast honor in as many days Saturday at the 2017 ECAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Princeton, N.J.
A day after earning
All-East Coast plaudits in the discus, Boody took home the same honor Saturday, this time in the hammer throw. Boody posted a toss of 53.64 meters (176'0") to finish eighth.

Julia Ratcliffe of Princeton won the individual title in the hammer with a toss of 62.17 meters (204'0"). Rounding out the top eight and joining Boody in earning All-East Coast accolades was Ksenia Safonova of Towson (58.50 meters), Leia Mistowski of William & Mary (57.11), Rachel Wilson of Penn (55.87), Kennisha Okereke of Monmouth (54.92), Penn's Isis Trotman (54.53) and Momouth's Alicia Hester (54.12).
Boody will look to advance to the NCAA East Preliminary, which takes place May 25-27 in Lexington, Ky., in her signature event, the discus. She currently sits 43rd in the East Region in the event, with the top 48 qualifying.
The 2017 ECAC Championships conclude Sunday, May 14.
