RESULTS: NCAA East Preliminary (5/26/17)
Boody stood atop the leaderboard after the first flight and fell to sixth after flight two before settling at No. 16. Boody became just the second member of the Colonials in program history to compete in an NCAA East Preliminary in the discus and first since Nicole Downing finished 18th in 2004 with a throw of 43.93 meters.
Gleneve Grange of Florida State claimed the individual title in the discus at the 2017 NCAA East Preliminary with a toss of 56.24 meters (184'6") as each of the top 12 finishers advance to the 2017 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
In 2017, Boody produced each of the top five marks in school history in the discus and overall during her career owns each of the top six distances in the program record book and seven of the top 10 marks.
