Pittsburgh, Pa. - Robert Morris University men's hockey will take the show on the road for a four-game swing through New England, beginning with a pair of afternoon contests against American International at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Massachusetts.

LAST TIME OUT
RMU took three of four points with a 3-2 win & 3-3 tie over Bentley. A late goal by Michael Louria forced overtime on Friday before Alex Tonge scored the game-winner 26 seconds into the extra frame. Timmy Moore tallied two goals on the weekend. Ferguson & Nick Prkusic had the others.

PREVIOUS MEETING
Robert Morris swept AIC 3-1 and 4-0, with Francis Marotte earning a shutout. Senior defenseman Robert Powers scored his first career goal in that series. Senior forward Spencer Dorowicz led the way with three goals in the two games. Ferguson, Louria and Prkusic had the others. Blake Christiansen scored the lone goal for the Yellow Jackets.

SERIES HISTORY
Robert Morris has dominated the series with an 18-4-3 record, a 6-1-1 mark on the Yellow Jackets home ice. RMU has won the last five games and is 8-1-1 in the last ten games vs. AIC.

#FERGY4HOBEY
For the second time, Brady Ferguson has been nominated for the Hobey Baker Award, the most prestigious honor in NCAA men's ice hockey. Ferguson leads the Colonials in scoring with 12 goals and 33 points on the season, ranking 7th in the NCAA and 2nd in Atlantic Hockey, just three points shy of the NCAA points lead this season.  

HOT LINE BLING
The Colonials top line of Alex Tonge, Brady Ferguson and Timmy Moore have combined for 45 points in the last 7 games, dating back to the Colonials sweep of Mercyhurst (Dec. 16 & 17). The trio are ranked 1st, 2nd and 4th in the NCAA in scoring since Dec. 15. Ferguson has 4 goals and 13 assists in that span, averaging 2.43 points per game. Tonge has 5 goals and 10 assists for 2.14 p/pg. Moore has 6 goals and 7 assists.

BLOCK PARTY
Junior defenseman Eric Israel (54, 2.25/pg) and senior defenseman Alex Bontje (52, 2.17/pg) are first and third in blocks in Atlantic Hockey, ranked 8th and 13th in the NCAA.

SHUTOUT SHOW
Francis Marotte has five career shutouts and three this season, tied for third all-time at RMU with Eric Levine '13. The all-time record is eight, held by 2016 graduate Terry Shafer. (2nd, Dalton Izyk '17, 6). The single-season shutout record is 4 (Levine '12-13, Shafer '15-16).

CHASING HISTORY
Ferguson is second all-time in scoring at RMU with 151 career points, surpassing Cody Wydo '15 last weekend. The senior from Carrollton, Texas is just 5 points back of tying the program's all-time scoring leader Zac Lynch '16 (156 points).

JENNY, JENNY, WHO CAN I TURN TO
Freshman Nick Jenny is becoming a reliable member of the Colonials defensive corps and has chipped in on the offensive end as well. Jenny tallied his first NCAA goal in the opening game of the Three Rivers Classic and registered 3 points in his first 7 games played (1-2-3). Jenny entered the lineup for the first time on Nov. 25 at Bentley and hasn't missed a game since, registering a plus-four rating, on the ice for just two even-strength goals against, out of the 31 total goals scored against RMU in that ten-game span.

BACK ON THE HORSE
After playing 5 of the first 6 games, junior forward Kyle Horsman missed 16 games, dealing with an injury, but rejoined the lineup last weekend.

POWER UP
Brady Ferguson leads the Colonials and Atlantic Hockey in power play scoring with 12 of his points coming on the man advantage. The senior forward has 5 goals and 7 assists on the power play. RMU's 24 power play goals are third in Atlantic Hockey (Mercyhurst 26, Bentley 25).

SHORTY GET DOWN
Ferguson & Lynch have each scored a pair of shorthanded goals this season. Ferguson is second in career SHG among all active players with 7.
