Highland, Mich. – The Robert Morris University men's golf team competed in the first two rounds of the Titans Motown Collegiate this afternoon.
Playing at the par-72, 7,042-yard Prestwick Village Golf Club, Robert Morris posted a 77-over 653 with rounds of 326 (+33) and 327 (+34). Grand Valley State currently leads the field with a six-over 582.

Max Palmer led the Colonials with an 11-over 155, sitting in a tie for 25th. Palmer opened the day with a four-over 76, tallying a birdie and 12 pars.
Kyle Grube is deadlocked for 30th, following Palmer on the leaderboard with a 12-over 156. Grube's first round was his best as well, registering a five-over 77 with 10 pars and an eagle on the par-five fourth hole.
Playing as an individual, Nicholas Mihalo fired a 22-over 166. David Szymanski posted a 26-over 170, while Daniel Franco Saad (172, +28) and Bryce Gorrell (178, +34) rounded out the RMU team.
Robert Morris completes play at the Titans Motown Collegiate tomorrow morning with a 9:00 a.m. start.
