Highland, Mich. – The Robert Morris University men's golf team completed its fourth tournament of the fall season this afternoon, the Titans Motown Collegiate.
After a two-hour frost delay, Robert Morris took to the links and posted its best round of the tournament, a 23-over 311. Grand Valley State took home the team title with a three-round score of 15-over 879, while Ferris State's Andrew Hammett fired a six-under 210 over the two days to collect medalist honors.

Max Palmer was the highest-finishing Colonial, placing in a tie for 26th overall with a 16-over 232. Palmer carded a five-over 76 this afternoon, tallying four birdies and five pars. Two of the junior's birdies came on par fives, as he collected four in all on those holes.
Kyle Grube finished in a deadlock for 31st overall, registering an 18-over 234. Grube posted five birdies and six pars on the afternoon, carding an even-par 36 on the back nine for an overall round of six-over 78.
Daniel Franco Saad joined Palmer with RMU's best round of the day, a five-over 76. Franco Saad birdied three holes and added nine pars, posting a one-over 35 on the front nine this afternoon.
David Szymanski carded a seven-over 79 in the third round with a birdie and nine pars. Bryce Gorrell tallied four birdies and six pars to post an eight-over 80, while individual Nicholas Mihalo collected three birdies and seven pars en route to a nine-over 81.
Robert Morris will have a week off, then concludes its fall campaign Homewood/Hilton Garden Aiport & FGCU Classic in Estero, Fla., hosted by Florida Gulf Coast.
