Moon Township, Pa. - Robert Morris University women's lacrosse returns home from a three-game road trip to host the George Washington University Colonials on Saturday, in the opening game of a "Youth Day" men's and women's lacrosse doubleheader at Joe Walton Stadium.

LAST TIME OUT
Robert Morris and George Washington are both two-win teams coming off losses in their last outings. RMU dropped a 14-9 affair at Liberty, while GWU fell 14-8 at Monmouth.
THE ROAD HOME
Robert Morris is back on home turf for the first time since opening the season on February 10 with a 5-4 double-overtime loss to Bucknell at Joe Walton Stadium. RMU has been on the road ever since, going 2-1 in three games as the visitors, with wins over Duquesne and Radford, and a loss at Liberty.

FLYNN IT TO WIN IT
Freshman
Kelley Flynn took home NEC Rookie of the Week honors after torching Radford for five goals last Friday, also collecting two ground balls and two caused turnovers, before a two-assist outing at Liberty. Flynn scored her first career goal in the game at Radford before firing away to rack up five on the day.
EUREKA! SHE HAS FOUND IT
Junior
Sophia Eureka scored her first goal of the season at Radford last Friday, before breaking through for the best offensive performance of her career. Eureka posted her first-ever hat trick in a career-high four-goal performance in the Colonials loss at Liberty last Sunday.
DANGEROUS DEFENSE
Robert Morris had the top defense in the NEC and one of the NCAA's best in 2017, leading the conference in ground balls and caused turnovers, as well as being the nation's No. 2 team in caused turnovers and 4th in ground balls. RMU's scoring defense held opponents to an average of 11.00 goals per game, ranked second in the NEC.

STUNTIN' NOT SLUMPIN'
No Sophomore Slumps for the Colonials second-year players.
Meghan Crouse is RMU's leading scorer through the first two games, with seven goals, adding 18 draw controls, eight ground balls and six caused turnovers.
Melanie Gandy has four goals and two assists, while
Clio Kerr has three goals, two assists, 12 draw controls and six ground balls.
Colonials sophomore defenders are breaking out.
Madison Burke has 7 ground balls and 7 caused turnovers, while
Kelly Colegrove has 8 caused turnovers and 6 round balls.
Shea McArdle has 7 ground balls as well. Burke picked up NEC Defensive Player of the Week honors in the league's first awards week of the season.

Kelly Colegrove has guarded the Colonials net-front with authority, averaging two caused turnovers per game this season, tied for second in the Northeast Conference, ranked 36
th in the NCAA.
QUEEN OF THE CAGE
Sophomore
Katelyn Miller returns in goal to defend again for RMU after a successful frosh campaign. Miller posted an 11-6-0 record with a .442 save percentage (4th in the NEC) and averaged 7.83 saves per game. Miller looks solid as ever, posting 13 saves in her last outing at Liberty, with an 8.60 GAA, the second-best goals against average in the NEC this season, ranked 13
th in the NCAA.
CROUSE'S HOUSE
Sophomore
Meghan Crouse is a force when it comes to possession. In 2017, Crouse was 5th in the NEC in draw controls (2.83 per game), and 16th in the NEC in caused turnovers, averaging 1.89 per game.
She's at it again. Crouse is fourth in the NEC in draw controls per game (4.50, 69
th in NCAA) and tenth in the NEC in caused turnovers per game (1.50). Crouse is ranked 15th in career average for caused turnovers per game among active NCAA players (1.82).
DYNAMIC DANA
Senior
Dana Davis is the definition of an all-around midfielder, bringing a balanced and determined style to the field. An all-NEC first team honoree last season, Davis has earned league honors in each of her three seasons, an all-Rookie team member as a freshman and a second-team sophomore.
Davis is among the NCAA's active career leaders in four categories: Ground Balls (5th, 159), Ground Balls Per Game (8th, 2.94), Caused Turnovers (6th, 81), Caused Turnovers Per Game (34th, 1.50).

NEW LEADERSHIP
The Colonials are under the direction of head coach
Katrina Silva in her first year at the helm at Robert Morris, named to the role in December of 2017, after serving seven seasons as an assistant coach. Silva begins her 15th season as a head coach and has an overall record of 126-115, including stints at Roanoke (3 seasons, 1997-1999), Colgate (7 seasons, 2000-2006) and Virginia Tech (4 seasons, 2007-2011). PRESEASON POLL
The Robert Morris University women's lacrosse team was tabbed for a third place finish in the Northeast Conference (NEC) women's lacrosse coaches' preseason poll. Bryant was selected as the unanimous favorite to repeat as league champion, while Wagner was chosen second. Robert Morris is followed by Mount St. Mary's, Sacred Heart was picked fifth, Central Connecticut followed in sixth, Saint Francis U in seventh, and LIU Brooklyn in eighth to round out the poll.
