Westlake, Ohio – The Robert Morris University men's golf team posted scores of 307 (+23) and 300 (+16) over the first two rounds of the Tom Tontimonia Invitational this afternoon, played at the par-71, 6,878-yard course at Lakewood Country Club.
Robert Morris' 36-hole total of 39-over 607 is two strokes behind Northern Kentucky for 10th place. Bowling Green leads the field at 13-under 555, followed by Wright State (564, -4), and Oakland (565, -3). Rodrigue Vie of the tournament leaders tops the individual leaderboard at six-under 136.

Chase Miller is the highest Colonial on the leaderboard through 36 holes, sitting in a tie for 43rd at seven-over 149. Miller's second round of 72 (+1) matched his season best, with two birdies and 13 pars making up that score. The sophomore tallied a single birdie in his opening 18, a seven-over 77.
Max Palmer finished the day at eight-over 150, with a first-round 72 (+1) being the highlight. Palmer fired three birdies and 11 pars over his opening 18, adding two more birdies and eight pars in the second round.
Kyle Grube also carded a 72 (+1) this afternoon in the second round, posting a 10-over 152 through 36 holes. Grube tallied three birdies and nine pars on the return trip after posting a birdie and 10 pars to start the day.
Playing as an individual, Parker Johnson registered an 11-over 153 with a second-round 76 (+5) being his best. Nicholas Mihalo carded a 13-over 155 in his season debut, and Chris Sabol posted a 22-over 164.
Robert Morris is back on the course tomorrow for the final round of the Tom Tontimonia Invitational.
