Westlake, Ohio – The Robert Morris University men's golf team posted the sixth-lowest score among the 11-team field in this afternoon's final round of the Tom Tontimonia Invitational, carding a 14-over 298 to finish in 10th place.
Robert Morris finished with a 72-hole tally of 53-over 905, nine strokes ahead of Northern Kentucky. The Colonials entered the day two strokes behind the Norse on the leaderboard, but registered their lowest round of the tournament for the third time this season to pick up a spot.

Kyle Grube carded a second 72 (+1) to claim top honors amongst his teammates, coming home in a tie for 32nd with an 11-over 224. Grube was at even-par on the front nine, finishing the round with three birdies and 11 pars.
Max Palmer fired a three-over 74 to share 37th place with Chase Miller. Palmer was two-under on the back nine, collecting a pair of birdies and seven pars. The senior added five pars on the front nine.
Miller finished the third round with a five-over 76, with two birdies and nine pars to his name.
Chris Sabol matched Miller's five-over 76, highlighted by a birdie and eight pars on the front nine.
Nicholas Mihalo and Parker Johnson, who played as an individual, rounded out the Colonial contingent with respective rounds of seven-over 78 and nine-over 80.
Bowling Green held onto its 36-hole lead to win the event, finishing up at 15-under 837. Rodrigue Vie of the Falcons claimed medalist honors with an eight-under 205.
Robert Morris continues its fall campaign on Sunday, Oct. 13 and Monday, Oct. 14 at the Bucknell Fall Invitational. This is the first time since 2016 that the Colonials have competed in this tournament.
