Cole Chase, a redshirt freshman from Issaquah, Wash., had a debut to remember as he carded a hole-in-one on the par-three, 166-yard fourth hole. Chase's hole-in-one was the first for a RMU golfer since Oct. 5, 2014, when Matt Gurska '15 accomplished the feat at the Binghamton Fall Invitational.

Max Palmer and Chase Miller led the Colonials on the day, as both sit at 10-over 154 through two rounds. Palmer began the afternoon with a one-over 73, thanks to three birdies on the front nine and 11 pars. Miller carded a two-over 74 to start his sophomore season, collecting four of his five birdies on the back nine to go along with eight pars.

Chase carded an 11-over 155 in his RMU debut, highlighted by the aforementioned hole-in-one on his opening 18. The redshirt freshman posted a two-over 74 in the first round, tallying three birdies and seven pars.

Two other Colonials made their collegiate debuts in freshmen Parker Johnson and Logan Hess. Both rookies carded five-over 77s in the second round with a pair of birdies.

Kyle Grube finished at five-over 77 in the first 18 before withdrawing after the second round.

Wright State leads through two rounds with a nine-under 567, followed by Valparaiso (-3, 573), Loyola-Chicago (+3, 579), North Dakota State (+8, 584), and Purdue Fort Wayne (+8, 584).

Robert Morris concludes play tomorrow at the Crusader Collegiate with a 7:30 a.m. (CT) start.
