Union, Ky. – The Robert Morris University men's golf team continued its fall season this afternoon at the Northern Kentucky Fall Collegiate Classic, posting a two-round total of 39-over 607.
Played at the par-71, 6,724-yard Lassing Pointe Golf Club, Robert Morris currently sits in 10th place after carding scores of 304 (+20) and 303 (+19). The Colonials sent a young team out to the Bluegrass State, with a sophomore and four freshmen – three making their collegiate debuts – among the contingent.

Max Palmer is the highest RMU player on the leaderboard, currently placed in a tie for ninth. Palmer is at two-over 143 over 36 holes, highlighted by a one-under 70 to open the day. The senior posted four birdies – including three straight to start the round – and 11 pars in the first 18, and carded three birdies and 10 pars in the afternoon.
Chase Miller registered an 11-over 153 with rounds of 76 (+5) and 77 (+6). Miller recorded a single birdie in both rounds and 25 total pars, 13 coming in the first 18.
Chris Sabol and Alex Seelig both posted a 12-over 154 in their collegiate debuts. Sabol recorded back-to-back rounds of six-over 77, while Seelig – playing as an individual – made up two strokes from his opening 18 with a five-over 76.
Parker Johnson is at 15-over 157 through two rounds, with a five-over 76 coming in his second trip around the link. Another freshman making his RMU debut, Josh Nagy, registered an 18-over 160 with an eight-over 79 coming on the back 18.
Evansville leads after 36 holes by one stroke at seven-over 575. West Virginia's Logan Perkins tops the individual leaderboard at nine-under 133.
Robert Morris returns to the course tomorrow for the final round of the NKU Fall Collegiate Classic, beginning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
