Union, Ky. – The Robert Morris University men's golf team competed in its second tournament of the fall season, finishing 10th with a three-round total of 55-over 907 at the Northern Kentucky Fall Collegiate Classic.
Max Palmer moved into a tie for third place all-time in top-10 finishes, coming home in a tie for ninth with a two-over 215. Palmer posted a one-over 72 on the afternoon, collecting a pair of birdies on the front nine to go with 13 pars. The senior was second in the field in par-three scoring at a 3.00 stroke average.

Chase Miller matched Palmer's one-over 72 on the final 18, finishing in a deadlock for 34th at 12-over 225. Miller recorded two birdies on the back nine and an eagle on the par-five, 521-yard eighth hole, adding 11 pars over the round.
Chris Sabol fired a six-over 77 for a three-round total of 18-over 231. Sabol registered two birdies on the front nine and a total of nine pars.
Playing as an individual, Alex Seelig registered a seven-over 78 on the day. Seelig parred 11 holes and birdied the first to finish at 19-over 232 in 54 holes.
Josh Nagy matched Seelig's round at seven-over 78, tallying three birdies over the final 18. Parker Johnson also collected a trio of birdies in his final round, carding a nine-over 80.
Palmer now shares third place in career top-10 finishes with Garrett Browning (2012-16) and Trent Karlik (1997-01). Only Bart Mease (22, 1995-99) and C.G. Mercatoris (20, 2007-11) have more top-10 finishes in their RMU career.
Morehead State captured the team title with a three-over 287 this afternoon, finishing at 11-over 863. Anthony Occhiuto took home medalist honors with a three-round total of nine-under 204.
Robert Morris will take a week off before returning to the links for the Tom Tontimonia Invitational, hosted by Cleveland State from Oct. 7-8.
