OVERLAND PARK, Ks. - Robert Morris University senior defenseman Nick Jenny was named to the 2021 Senior CLASS Award First-Team, it was announced today.
North Dakota's Jordan Kawaguchi was selected as the 2020-21 Senior CLASS Award winner in NCAA Division I men's hockey.
Joining Haak on the 2020-21 First Team are Jenny, Jack LaFontaine, Brannon McManus, and Scott Reedy. The Second Team includes Kevin Fitzgerald, Matt Hellickson, Alex Limoges, Zach Solow and Odeen Tufto.
Jenny recently wrapped up his four years in Moon Township with a dynamic senior season, ranking first overall in total defensive scoring in all of Atlantic Hockey this year with 18 points in 21 games as RMU captured the 2021 AHA West Title and Jenny earned Best Defenseman honors.
Off the ice, Jenny has been a dedicated student and member of the RMU community. A Dean's List and All-American Scholar member since 2017, Jenny has been involved in numerous extracurricular activities and student-organizations in his time at RMU including serving as a SAAC Representative as well as a volunteer with the Arctic Foxes Youth Hockey Program.
